Pediatric Care

Transformative Results through Chiropractic Care

Not every chiropractor sees children, and even fewer have pursued specialized training to understand how a child's developing nervous system is different from an adult's. At Anthem Chiropractic, pediatric care isn't an add-on to our practice. It's a core focus, backed by advanced, pediatric-specific training.

Specialized Training You Won't Find Everywhere

Dr. Houston Rutledge is certified through the PX + Life University Neuro-Tonal Certificate Program, an intensive 80-hour advanced training program focused exclusively on pediatric chiropractic care. This isn't general chiropractic education applied to smaller patients — it's in-depth training in pediatric-specific analysis, care planning, and adjusting techniques designed for the unique needs of a developing spine and nervous system.

Many chiropractic offices see kids occasionally. Far fewer have invested in training built specifically around how children's bodies grow, adapt, and respond to care, and that difference shows up in the specificity and confidence of the care your child receives here.

Why Parents Bring Their Kids to Us

Parents come to us for all kinds of reasons; some obvious, some less so:

  • Difficulty with latch or feeding in infants

  • Trouble sleeping or unsettled behavior

  • Torticollis or head/neck asymmetry

  • Ear infections or sinus concerns that keep recurring

  • Digestive issues like reflux, constipation, or colic

  • Postural concerns, especially with older kids on devices or carrying heavy backpacks

  • Concerns around development, coordination, or focus

  • Simply wanting a proactive, drug-free way to support their child's nervous system as they grow

Our Approach

Every child who comes into our office receives an age-appropriate assessment — including the CLA Insight scan — to give us objective, data-driven insight into how their nervous system is functioning, not just a guess based on symptoms. Adjustments for children are gentle and specific, using far less force than an adult adjustment, and tailored entirely to the child's size, age, and presentation.
